Really great, I remember this tune too, but I also think it was the Coasters who sang this song. Great to see all the posters from the classic western movies.

I wonder if people are confusing this song with the Coasters’ “Searchin’”? There’s a lot of similarity musically, and the lyrics of that one give a shout out to a lot of the old western stars.

BTW, wasn’t there a lot of personnel overlap between the Olympics and another group called the Marathons?

At a time when vocalists were interchanging members from one group 2 another, it was almost natural 4 a songwriter 2 shift music from 1 group 2 another. Yes, the Marathons & The Olympcis even share an Album. Good Colaboration & enjoyable music to bring 2 the fans w/o interruption.
